Hair care guide. Informal overview.
Informal overview of everyday care for our braiding, curl, and bulk lines—not medical advice and not a substitute for your stylist's install routine. Contact us or WhatsApp with your exact product name if you need line-specific guidance.
Before you install
Let the hair air out, then finger-comb or wide-tooth comb from ends upward. Check colour under natural light. Avoid harsh brushing on tight curls before install.
Washing
Use cool to lukewarm water and a mild, sulfate-free shampoo. Smooth shampoo down the hair in one direction—do not scrub in circles. Rinse fully. If your line allows conditioner, apply mid-lengths to ends only, then rinse.
Drying and heat
Blot with a microfibre towel; do not wring. Prefer air drying on a hanger or mannequin head. If you use heat, start low and use heat protectant—especially on coloured hair (27#, BUG, 613#).
Humidity and storage (Nigeria)
Humidity can increase frizz on textured lines. Store hair completely dry in a satin or mesh bag, away from bathroom steam. For longer storage, loosely braid or twist long lengths to limit tangling.
Lighter colours (including 613#)
Lighter tones can be more sensitive to heat, sun, and chlorine. Minimise high heat, cover in strong sun, and rinse after swimming. Only deep-condition if it suits that fibre—ask us if unsure.
